Things to know

Please have your veterinarian fax or email the current vaccination records to us or bring in proof of current vaccinations upon arrival.

Age Requirements: Puppies must be 12 weeks of age or older and must have had at least Rabies, DAPP (2 rounds) and Bordetella.

Required Vaccinations:

  • Dogs: Rabies, DAPP or DHLPP, Bordetella

  • Cats: Rabies, FVRCP

Currently, Waldorf Kennels is not requiring dogs to be vaccinated with the canine influenza vaccine. We do, however, encourage you to talk to your veterinarian about canine influenza and if it is appropriate depending on your dog’s lifestyle. 

You are welcome to stop by anytime during business hours to take a tour and ask questions, no appointment needed.

We're happy to administer your pet's medication per your instruction. Please clearly mark the amount to be given and how often it is to be administered and we'll take care of it in your absence. Please note that there is a $5-$10 a day charge for this service depending on the number of medications, how often they are given, and your pets willingness to take their medications. 

We do not administer shots

We encourage you to bring your pets favorite toys and a bed/blanket. Please no rawhides or anything that could cause a choke hazard. No balls or toys under 2" in diameter.

Yes. We have separate outdoor play yards for every dog, so your pet will not come into direct contact with another dog during their stay. Females in heat are not able to stay.

Yes, they can stay together, but they must be able to eat together as we do NOT have a way to seperate them. If your pets stay in separate kennels we will attempt to put them side by side and they will still be able to go out to the play yard together. 
*There is a discounted rate on non-holiday dates for the second and subsequent pet(s) using the same kennel/run.
*Please note that we reserve the right to separate pets that are not suited to be with one another. This may increase your final bill. 

All non-holiday bookings will be charged a 50% deposit. If you cancel 7 days prior to your scheduled stay you will be refunded your entire deposit minus the 4% credit card fee. If you do not cancel 7 days prior to your scheduled stay you forfeit the entire deposit. 

Holiday bookings now require a full deposit for the dates booked. We ask that you pay your deposit within 72 hours of creating your booking or your booking could be canceled. If you cancel 7 days prior to your scheduled stay you will be refunded your entire deposit minus the 4% credit card fee. If you do not cancel 7 days prior to your scheduled stay you forfeit the entire deposit. 

Yes, you can pick up or drop off your pet(s) on Sunday. We are closed to the public on Sunday, and only offer pick up's and drop off's between 4pm-4:30pm. If you need to pick up or drop off on Sunday you will need to pre-schedule a time to do so at your time of booking.There is a $25 fee associated with this, along with the daily boarding fee.

Yes, you can depending on the time of year and the availability. Please call us as soon as you think you need to up-date your pets booking.

Yes, you can, however you will be charged for the entire stay that was booked. 

Yes, but if your dog arrives at the facility for drop off and they are showing signs of aggression either in the lobby, kennel or on a walk, Waldorf kennels reserves the right to not accept your dog for boarding. You will still be liable to pay for your pets scheduled boarding stay. If you wait until the day of drop off to do the evaluation you will still be charged the $25 for the evaluation.

When your pet(s) arrive for their boarding stay please ensure that they are clean and do not smell of smoke, offensive odors, dirt, or are covered in mud. If your pet(s) arrive and have an odor we reserve the right to require your pet be bathed at your expense. This is in an effort to keep our facility smelling as clean as possible.
