Preparing for Your Pet's Visit

Verifying Vaccination Records:

We understand that getting ready for any trip away from home can be stressful. That's why at Waldorf Kennels we want to make the process of boarding your pet as convenient as possible. The only requirement for your pet to stay is that he be current on all of his vaccinations. (Please note this is not a service we provide.)

  • Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

  • Rabies

We have found that providing your pets vaccination information, prior to your drop off date makes everything much easier when you bring your pet in for their stay.

Boarding agreement:

If this is the first time your pet has stayed with us, we will need a signed copy of our boarding agreement prior to confirming your reservation. Please email, fax, or bring by your signed copy so that we can confirm your pets reservation.

Cancellation policy:

We require 7 days advanced notice for all cancellations, if you cancel less than 7 days from your drop off date you will be subject to a fee that is 1/2 the amount of your original boarding stay. Here at Waldorf we run like a hotel, when you book your pet for their stay we are saving a "room" for them, and turn others away when we are full based on this.

Keeping Your Pet Content:

Reminders of home often help your pet adjust comfortably to his stay at any boarding kennel. Please feel free to bring any belongings from home that will make him comfortable during his stay.

We're happy to administer your pet's medication per your instruction. Please clearly mark the amount to be given and how often it is to be administered and we'll take care of it in your absence. Please note that there is a $5 a day charge for this service.

Special Diets

A balanced diet is key to staying healthy and dogs and cats are no exception. You are welcome to bring your pet's food from home  and we will be more than willing to accommodate.
